Nobody is worrying about the football

So England are out. It’s bad – but where better to be when you need a lift than Glastonbury.

Liam from Coventry says: “If I was at home and the game had just finished I’d be gutted and probably just have a beer, but we’re here – we’re going to see Stevie, Orbital, MGMT, LCD Soundsystem.”

And with that, he carried on dancing!

From curried goat to vegetarian bacon, there’s something to suit every taste as you wander past the huge range of food stalls and vans across the festival site.

Hannah and Danny spotted the strawberries and cream van and decided to grab a bowl and a bit of shelter from the hot afternoon sun. Check out some of the other festival fare on offer:

The big guns of Glasto 2010

With the big stages ready to swing into action tomorrow, the big guns have started arriving – we spotted Michael Eavis touring the festival site with special guests Stevie Wonder, Seasick Steve and Slash.

Underneath the papier mache heads are “P”, Kate, Jonny and Jane who told us: “They’re all hand-made. We think they look great, but they are boiling inside.”

Martin is teaching people to hula hoop. It’s easy. Everyone can do it. It’s all in the hip action. Martin wants as many people as possible to get down to his hula lessons, next to the Hare Krishna tent.

Learning to juggle at Glastonbury

Danny Kay from Bramley in Leeds: It’s taken over seven hours to get in. We missed the football and we’re still waiting for three of our mates. I’m just having a wander. I fancy learning to juggle. Clubs tonight – knives tomorrow – fire on Friday and sword swallowing on Saturday.
