GlastoBlog is all about the real festival-goers’ experience, so help tell the story of Glasto 2010 by uploading your favourite photos using the upload form. Tell us where your photo was taken and at what time so we can put you on the map at the right hour. Or if your photos are on your phone you can MMS them to 60300 starting your message with the word GLASTO.

Sharing the real Glastonbury experience

We’re setting out to capture the experience of Glastonbury 2010 through the eyes of real festival-goers. While TV and radio focus on the main music acts on the big stages, we’re looking for the more personal moments and the more intimate shared experiences that all add up to making Glasto so unique.

We want as many people as possible to join in and share those moments by sending us a quick mobile “postcard” – a photo, a video or just a few words.

Everything will be posted live on the blog as it comes in, creating a communal view of the festival as it develops over 100 hours – and you’ll also be able to view everyone’s postcards through an interactive map of the festival site.

Gorillaz, Muse, Stevie Wonder and the line-up on the Pyramid Stage might be the headline-grabbers but everyone who’s going to Glastonbury this year will have their own list of must-see acts and must-do experiences. Tell us the things you’re most looking forward to.

Is this the future for festival wellies?

Gold and Silver Hunter wellies may have been the must-haves at the Isle of Wight festival, but Orange have recently unveiled a whole new level of welly love.

Orange Power wellies are thermoelectric wellies that charge your mobile phone using heat from your feet. Twelve hours of stomping around gives enough power to charge a phone for one hour.

There’s only one pair in existence at the moment, but they’ll be hot-footing it to the festival this year. If you’re going to the festival, you’ll be able to see them for yourself next week in Chill and Charge.
