While TV and radio focus on the main music acts on the big stages, we’re looking for the more personal moments and the more intimate shared experiences that all add up to making Glasto so unique.

We want as many people as possible to join in and share those moments by sending us a quick mobile “postcard” – a photo, a video or just a few words.

Everything will be posted live on the blog as it comes in, creating a communal view of the festival as it develops over 100 hours – and you’ll also be able to view everyone’s postcards through an interactive map of the festival site.
GlastoBlog HQ tag:glastoblog.orange.co.uk,2010-06-17:14650 2010-06-17T12:45:00Z 2010-06-18T13:09:50Z from-glastoblog-hq What are you looking forward to this year?

Gorillaz, Muse, Stevie Wonder and the line-up on the Pyramid Stage might be the headline-grabbers but everyone who’s going to Glastonbury this year will have their own list of must-see acts and must-do experiences. Tell us the things you’re most looking forward to.

And look out for the GlastoBlog team when you’re there – we’ll be in Chill and Charge and out and about across the site listening to people’s stories. You can also get your photos, videos and posts on to the blog by sending an MMS to 60300 starting with the word GLASTO.
GlastoBlog HQ tag:glastoblog.orange.co.uk,2010-06-16:14577 2010-06-16T08:42:00Z 2010-06-17T14:27:12Z from-glastoblog-hq Is this the future for festival wellies?

Gold and Silver Hunter wellies may have been the must-haves at the Isle of Wight festival, but Orange have recently unveiled a whole new level of welly love.

Orange Power wellies are thermoelectric wellies that charge your mobile phone using heat from your feet. Twelve hours of stomping around gives enough power to charge a phone for one hour.

There’s only one pair in existence at the moment, but they’ll be hot-footing it to the festival this year. If you’re going to the festival, you’ll be able to see them for yourself next week in Chill and Charge.
