Slash giving it some at Glastonbury

It was tough deciding what to watch this afternoon – but those who opted for Slash at the Pyramid Stage were glad they did. And not just because of the England result. The metal legend treated the packed, charged audience to a blistering set including classic Guns N’ Roses anthems like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Paradise City”.

Out of about 50 of us i was one of only 7 or 8 who took the decision to watch Slash. I was really worried that I was gonna miss England romp to victory against the Germans. When he started playing the intro to 'Sweet Child' i filled up with tears and by the first chorus i was crying! I knew either England or my childhood hero would do it. COME ON 2011!!!!!
