Muse at Glastonbury

“That was the best performance from a live band I have ever seen, ever!” – that’s the verdict from Ben from Shrewsbury as he and the Pyramid Stage crowd flock away from a spectacular show from headliners Muse.

For one hour and 45 minutes they kept hard-core fans and part-timers happy with a mixture of classic tracks and new stuff from their latest album – and then they pulled a big surprise when the Edge from U2 joined them to pay tribute to the fallen headliners with a version of “The Streets Have No Name”, Bellamy’s voice sounding not too dissimilar to Bono’s. They finished with a final treat of Knights of Cydonia – which left us wondering: ‘Can Stevie top this?’

is this the end of Muse, as we know them. U2 used to be this exciting and inspiring. then they got all sanctimonious and decided to tell the world how to live its life (easy with all you money). for gods sake (Muse) just take the musical genius from U2 and leave the other tosh behind you and rock on.

Muse never disappoint! They are truly professional and always give the fans what they want. They deserve their phenomenal success.

Muses 2004 set was incredible, and I didnt think they were going to be able to top it. As soon as the started citizen erased I changed my mind. Best live set I have ever seen!

Muse were indeed excellent but no one can beat Pendulum for sheer skill, inventivness and entertainment

Phenomenal, quite phenomenal. Small wonder that their teachers in Teignmouth knew they would be successful. I think Matt Bellamy possibly has more musicality in his little finger nail than most people have in their entire bodies.

Possibly the most mind numbing band of all time!!!
